DragonCon 2009 - The Walk of Fame

The WOF is the official autograph room at DragonCon. We weren't supposed to take pictures of most of the actors, so I had to be sneaky. As a result of that and the low-light, these pictures didn't come out well. I'm seriously considering getting a new camera before DC 2010.

Yet another line... this one formed on Friday morning, just before the WOF opened.

Me and Peter Jurasik. I've wanted to meet him for years. It was worth the wait; he's a really nice guy.

DragonCon 2009 - Hotels and Henna

The con is spread among four hotels. I stayed at the Sheraton last year, which was surprisingly nice. I usually stay at the Marriott, but they sold out before I was able to book a room. This year they sold out 15 minutes after the DragonCon rate was released!

I got a henna tattoo early Friday morning. It said, "Truth is one, paths are many" in Elvish :)

DragonCon 2009

I just realized that I never put my pictures from last year's DragonCon up on my website, so I'll just put them here instead. Here's the first batch.

The line to pick up badges is always miles long. These pictures were taken on Thursday afternoon, before the con even started.

Old stuff... actor wallpapers

I'm going to start gradually moving things from my old website to this blog. Now, when I say "old"... well, here's an example. I made these desktop wallpapers quite a few years ago, and it shows :) This was back when the standard desktop resolution was 800x600. But I worked hard on them, darnit, so here they are.
